AfrooBeans
In 2019, my friend and I had the idea to create an Instagram page archiving our shared love for art and visual expression. 5 years on, and 40k followers later, we’ve fostered a beautiful little community who care about art, faith, and culture just as much as we do. Now we want to take it to the next level -
Our goal is to bring a little piece of the motherland into the homes of MENA and SA diaspora living in the West while reviving dying ancient arts across the region. We hope to kick this off by spotlighting clay items molded by the hands of artisans from the mountains of Libya. This project is still very much in the ideation process, but we hope to see it come to fruition in the near future. After thorough research, I crafted a branding and marketing strategy characterised by community, culture and togetherness.
Brand Concept
The vision for AfrooBeans is to create a brand voice and feel that is fun, cheeky, warm, homely and authentic.
This will be expressed through our brand voice, which will blend poetic elements a casual tone. The design choices such as colour and visual selection will reflect the warm, familiar and homely elements, while the use of fonts and icons will reflect the fun dynamic edge of the brand.
